Version 2.0 · Effective 13 July 2026 · Applies to all Games published by Shalinkumar Game Studio.
Shalinkumar Game Studio ("we", "us", "our") develops and publishes mobile games ("Games") distributed through the Google Play Store. We respect your privacy and believe you should clearly understand what happens to your data when you play our Games. This Privacy Policy explains, in plain language, what information is collected, why it is collected, who it is shared with, how long it is kept, and what rights and choices you have.
This policy applies to every Game published under the developer account "Shalinkumar Game Studio", unless a specific Game provides its own separate policy.
1. Summary at a Glance
- You can play our Games without creating an account. We never ask for your name, email, phone number, or address to play.
- Some data — like your device model and an advertising identifier — is collected automatically by our advertising and analytics partners' software (SDKs) built into the Game.
- This data is used to show ads, measure performance, and fix crashes. Ads are what keep our Games free.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- You can opt out of personalized ads and reset or delete your Advertising ID in your Android settings at any time.
- You can email us at any time to ask questions or request deletion of your data.
2. Information We Collect and Why
The table below lists each category of data, where it comes from, and the specific purpose it serves.
| Data category | Examples | How collected | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| Device information | Device model, OS version, language, screen resolution, network type | Automatically, via SDKs | Compatibility, performance optimization, diagnosing device-specific bugs |
| Identifiers | Android Advertising ID (AAID), app-set ID, Firebase installation ID | Automatically, via SDKs | Serving and capping ads, measuring ad performance, distinguishing installs — never linked to your real identity by us |
| Gameplay & usage data | Levels completed, session length, features used, progress | Automatically, via analytics SDKs | Improving game design and balancing difficulty |
| Crash & diagnostic data | Crash logs, stack traces, device state at time of crash | Automatically, when an error occurs | Finding and fixing bugs and crashes |
| Approximate location | Country/region derived from IP address | Inferred by ad/analytics servers | Regional ad delivery, legal compliance, aggregate statistics. No precise GPS location is collected. |
| Purchase data | Item purchased, transaction success/failure | From Google Play Billing | Delivering and restoring purchases; card details never reach us |
| Support data | Your email and message — only if you contact us | Directly from you | Responding to your request |
3. Information We Do NOT Collect
- Your real name, home address, or phone number
- Precise GPS location
- Contacts, photos, files, SMS messages, or call logs
- Camera or microphone data (unless a specific feature clearly asks permission, which you can decline)
- Payment card or banking details (handled entirely by Google Play)
- Biometric or health information
4. Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or a region with similar laws, we process data under the following legal bases:
- Consent: personalized advertising is shown only after you consent through the in-game consent prompt (Google UMP form or equivalent). You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Legitimate interests: crash reporting, security, fraud prevention, non-personalized ads, and aggregate analytics needed to operate a free game.
- Contract: processing needed to deliver something you asked for, such as an in-app purchase.
- Legal obligation: retaining records where the law requires it.
5. Advertising Partners and Personalized Ads
Our Games are free because they show advertisements, delivered by third-party ad networks whose SDKs are embedded in the Game. These partners may collect device identifiers and usage signals to select, deliver, cap, and measure ads.
Ad networks we may use
- Google AdMob — policies.google.com/privacy · How AdMob uses data
- Unity Ads — unity.com/legal/privacy-policy
Personalized vs. non-personalized ads
Personalized ads use your advertising identifier and inferred interests to show more relevant ads. Non-personalized ads use only contextual signals (the game being played, your general region). Where the law requires it — such as in the EEA/UK — you will be asked to choose before any personalized ads are shown. Declining never blocks you from playing; you simply see non-personalized ads instead.
How to opt out at any time
- Open Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Privacy → Ads) on your device.
- Choose "Delete advertising ID" or enable "Opt out of Ads Personalization", depending on your Android version.
6. Analytics and Crash Reporting
- Google Analytics for Firebase — measures events like level completions and session counts. Privacy details
- Firebase Crashlytics — records technical crash reports so we can reproduce and fix bugs.
Analytics data is viewed by us only in aggregate form — for example, "40% of players finished Level 5" — not as a profile of you personally.
7. In-App Purchases
If a Game offers in-app purchases, the entire payment is handled by Google Play Billing. Google processes your payment method under its own privacy policy and shares with us only what is needed to deliver the item. We never see or store your card number. Refunds follow Google Play's refund policy.
8. App Permissions We May Request
| Permission | Why the Game may need it | Required? |
|---|---|---|
| Internet / Network state | Loading ads, syncing analytics, downloading content | Yes, for online features |
| Vibration | Haptic feedback during gameplay | No — cosmetic only |
| Notifications | Optional reminders and reward alerts | No — you choose at the system prompt |
We follow a minimum-permission principle: a Game asks only for what its features genuinely need, and never requests contacts, SMS, call logs, or precise location.
9. Children's Privacy (COPPA & Google Play Families Policy)
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the higher age of digital consent in your country, up to 16 in parts of the EU).
- In Games directed at children or with mixed audiences, we configure ad networks to serve only non-personalized, family-safe ads and enable child-directed treatment flags (e.g., AdMob's tagForChildDirectedTreatment).
- Parents or guardians who believe a child has provided us personal information can email us; we will verify and delete it promptly.
10. Who We Share Data With
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with data brokers. Data is shared only with:
- Service providers listed above (ad networks, analytics providers), strictly so they can perform their function inside the Game;
- Google Play, as the store platform and payment processor;
- Legal authorities, only when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our players, our studio, or the public;
- A successor company, if our studio is ever merged or acquired — in which case this policy (or a stronger one) continues to apply and you will be notified of any material change.
11. Data Retention
| Data type | Retention period |
|---|---|
| Analytics event data (Firebase) | Up to 14 months, then deleted or aggregated |
| Crash logs | Up to 90 days after the related issue is resolved |
| Advertising identifiers | Controlled by the ad network's retention schedule; resettable by you at any time |
| Support emails | Up to 24 months, then deleted |
| Purchase records | As long as tax and accounting law requires |
12. Data Security
We apply commercially reasonable safeguards: encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) transmission between the Game and all partner servers, access limited to authorized personnel, and reliance on major, security-audited platforms (Google Cloud/Firebase). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we follow industry-standard practices and will notify affected users and authorities of any breach where the law requires it.
13. International Data Transfers
Our service providers (Google, Unity) operate servers around the world, so data may be processed outside your home country, including in the United States. Where data leaves the EEA/UK, transfers are protected by recognized safeguards such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, as implemented by those providers.
14. Your Rights and Choices
- Access — ask what data we hold relating to you or your device.
- Correction — ask us to fix inaccurate data.
- Deletion — ask us to erase your data (see Section 15).
- Objection / restriction — object to or limit certain processing, including personalized ads.
- Portability — receive a copy of data you provided, in a common format.
- Withdraw consent — change your ad-consent choice at any time via in-game privacy settings or device settings.
- Complain — lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (EEA/UK residents).
California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising. We honor these requests and never discriminate against you for exercising them.
We respond to verified rights requests as soon as possible, and always within the period your local law allows.
15. How to Request Data Deletion
- Email shalin@shalinkumargames.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".
- Include the name of the Game and, if possible, your device's Advertising ID (Settings → Google → Ads) — this is how ad/analytics systems identify your device, since we don't know your real identity.
- We will confirm receipt, forward the request to relevant processors (e.g., Firebase data deletion), and confirm completion.
Tip: You can instantly cut the link between your device and all past ad data yourself by choosing "Delete advertising ID" in your Android settings — it works immediately and requires no email.
16. Third-Party Links
Ads or features inside our Games may link to external websites, stores, or services we do not control. Their privacy practices are their own; we encourage you to read their policies before providing any information.
17. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our Games, partners, or legal requirements change. The "Effective date" above always shows the latest revision, and for material changes we will provide reasonable notice, such as an in-game notice or updated store listing. Continued use of a Game after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
