Wander Stars

Tap a single arrow block and it bursts, setting off a chain that travels across a seven by seven board. Your task on every level is to guide seven wandering stars down to the bottom row.

HOW THE CHAIN WORKS
The chain steps one square in the direction the arrow was pointing. Every arrow it lands on turns it a new way, including diagonals. Blank blocks let it carry straight on. The chain ends when it reaches the edge of the board.

Some blocks carry two arrows. Tapping one of those splits the chain into two separate paths that travel independently. Reading the board and finding the right split point is the core skill of the game.

COLLECTING THE STARS
Above each of the seven columns a star waits to enter. Clear enough blocks in a column and that star drops into play. Stars cannot be destroyed, so chains pass straight through them — to collect one you clear the blocks beneath it and let it fall to the bottom row. Collect all seven within the level's limit to complete it.

LEVELS
Every level is designed by hand rather than randomly generated.
— Move levels give you a fixed number of taps
— Timer levels give you a fixed number of seconds
— Arrows point in eight directions, including diagonals
— Split blocks and star placements grow more demanding as you progress

POWER-UPS
Three are available, and none of them uses up a move:
— Bomb clears every block on the board; stars remain and fall
— Swap rearranges the contents of every block
— Star collects one star from a column that still holds one

One-finger tap controls, a clear uncluttered board, and sound and haptic feedback each switchable in settings.

The rules take a moment to understand. Working out the one tap that clears the board with taps to spare is where the puzzle really lies.
